Bio-CO2 Use and Removal 2024
The Bio-CO2 Use and Removal 2024 conference, taking place on the 16th of April 2024 in Kulttuurikasarmi, located in the heart of Helsinki city center (Finland), is organised by the Bioenergy Association of Finland in collaboration with VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and Finnish Energy.
The conference will be focused on the next steps in promoting the use of biogenic CO2 in products and carbon removals in Europe, exploring existing carbon capture projects in Finland, and gaining insights into the future. Learning about financing options for carbon removal and delving into the logistics of CO2 transportation in the Finnish context will be also a key topic.
The VIVALDI project will be presented from 15:30-16:45 in "Parallel session 3: Bio-CCU", where Mira Sulone, researcher at VTT and at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, will present the concept and objectives of the project.
