EU Bioeconomy Conference 2022

‘The Bioeconomy - Enabling the European Green Deal in Challenging Times’ is a high-level conference organised by the European Commission to present the findings of the EU Bioeconomy Strategy Progress Report, adopted in June 2022 and to highlight the role of bioeconomy policy to enhance policy coherence and system thinking. A series of bioeconomy success stories from EU research and innovation will be presented, alongside evidence for a successful implementation of the EU Bioeconomy Strategy.

The conference will take place on 6 and 7 October both online and in person at the European Commission (Charlemagne building) in Brussels.

Catia Bastioli, CEO at Novamont, the world’s leader in the bioplastics sector and part of the VIVALDI consortium, will be speaking at the high-level Policy Panel "The EU Bioeconomy Strategy in action – delivering for Europe" on October 6, at 11.00 am - 12.15 pm.
