ISMET8 – International Society for Microbial Electrochemistry and Technology – GLOBAL CONFERENCE

The Technical University of Crete, the University of Ghent and the University of Alcalá are organising the upcoming ISMET8 global conference.

The conference, gathering the International Society for Microbial Electrochemistry and Technology, will be held from the 19th to the 23rd of September 2022 in Chania, Crete, Greece.

During the 5 days conference, a global forum for the scientific and industrial communities will present and discuss the latest advances in research and industrial application of microbial electrochemical technologies. Topics will cover the various fields of interest of the community including fundamental aspects of the biochemistry, microbiology and ecology of the relevant organisms and communities, as well as improved materials and designs of devices, and their industrial applications.

VIVALDI project coordinator Albert Guisasola will present VIVALDI with:

• a flash oral presentation on SESSION-9A "Microbial electrochemical synthesis & electro-fermentation-III"
• a poster on POSTER GROUP B - T5 "Microbial electrochemical synthesis and electro-fermentation".
