Microbial Stress 2023

EFB, the European Federation of Biotechnology organizes Microbial Stress 2023 from 19-21 September in Vienna, Austria. The 3-day meeting is dedicated to microbial responses to stress with a program that covers both fundamental and applied aspects. The meeting welcomes, amongst others, microbiologists, biotechnologists, system biologists, biochemists, and molecular biologists from both the academic and industrial sectors.

The VIVALDI project is glad to participate in the event with a poster presentation on "Production of itaconic acid with engineered Komagataella phaffii under non-optimal biological conditions" by our partner the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU).

As a satellite event to this meeting, the COST action EuroMicropH will organize a 2-day Open Meeting (18-19 September 2023), which will share a joint session with the EFB Microbial Stress meeting at the same venue. Information about the Opening Meeting can be found here.
