UAB researchers present VIVALDI’s progress on continuous bioelectrochemical ammonia recovery at ecoSTP2023

On June 27-28, our colleagues from the 'Research Group on Biological Treatment and Valorisation of Liquid and Gaseous Effluents' of Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona joined ecoSTP2023, the 6th IWA International Conference on eco-Technologies for Wastewater Treatment, taking place in Girona, Spain.

There, researchers Zainab Ul Kausar and Mariella Belén Galeano presented the progress on continuous bioelectrochemical ammonia recovery achieved in the VIVALDI project through, respectively, an oral and a poster presentation.

Wastewater recovery is a key piece of the VIVALDI project and its concept supporting bio-based industries' transition towards a circular economy.
