A VIVALDI delegation joins the BES2024 symposium

From 19-23 of May, a VIVALDI delegation was at the XXVIII International Symposium on Bioelectrochemistry and Bioenergetics of the Bioelectrochemical Society.

The VIVALDI team is in Madrid to present to fellow bioelectrochemistry experts the great results achieved:

Paniz Izadi, scientific researcher and team leader at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) showcased the results achieved in "Moving CO2 conversion in electrobiorefineries towards industrial application, as fast as Rocinante".

Albert Guisasola Canudas, the project coordinator and professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, presented the teamwork done on "Boosting ammonium recovery in a 3-chamber bioelectrochemical system employing gas-diffusion electrodes".

BES2024 symposium was the perfect platform for our colleagues to put the spotlight on the VIVALDI project, share the research done with leading experts from around the world, and discuss the latest developments in this dynamic and interdisciplinary field.
