BOKU University opens its doors for the Researchers Night in Vienna

On the evening of the 24th of May 2024, the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) opened its doors in Muthgasse 18 for the Researchers Night in Vienna. The Civil Society had the chance to enter the university to discover the VIVALDI project and Anna Dumitriu's BioArt sculpture inspired by it!

The sculptural necklace reflects the production of succinic acid, a high-value chemical compound, from methanol (produced by recycling CO2) with the help of yeast. The piece of art is a successful example of CO2-based bio-based plastics!
