New scientific article on bioelectrochemical nitrogen recovery from wastewaters

A new scientific paper sharing VIVALDI results in bioelectrochemical nutrient recovery has been published on Elsevier's Bioelectrochemistry with the title "Continuous high-purity bioelectrochemical nitrogen recovery from high N-loaded wastewaters".

In this paper, Zainab Ul Kausar, Mira Sulonen, Juan Antonio Baeza and Albert Guisasola Canudas, part of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona's Research Group on Biological Treatment and Valorisation of Liquid and Gaseous Effluents, evaluated the trade-off between energy consumption and efficient ammonium recovery in continuously-fed microbial electrolysis cells.
