Four presentations showcase VIVALDI project’s progress and results at EUISMET6
From 6-8 September, a VIVALDI project delegation joined the EUISMET6, the sixth European Meeting of The International Society for Microbial Electrochemistry and Technology (ISMET).
During the 3-day event, our partners VITO, Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) showcased the project's progress and results via four oral presentations:
- "Judging CO2 reduction reaction from carbon efficiency perspective and not only coulombic efficiency at the tin gas diffusion electrode (GDE), being as porous as Maasdam!" by Paniz Izadi (UFZ).
- "Electro|Bio|Catalysis - Integrating into the bioeconomy by going hybrid?" by Deepak Pant (VITO) and Falk Harnisch (UFZ).
- "Optimizing materials for a three-chamber bioelectrochemical nitrogen recovery system" by Mariella Belén Galeano (UAB).
- "Future of bioelectrochemical hydrogen production from urban wastewater using microbial electrolysis cells" by Albert Guisasola Canudas (UAB).
A successful event and a precious opportunity for the consortium to present the project's advancement, discuss and share ideas with scientists, governmental organisations, and pioneering and established industries involved in the world of microbial electrochemical technology.
Congratulations to the entire delegation for the wonderful job!
