UAB presents the VIVALDI project at the Bio-CO2 Use and Removal 2024 Conference

On the 16th of April, the Bio-CO2 Use and Removal 2024 conference took place in Helsinki, Finland. The event, organised by Bioenergia, the Bioenergy Association of Finland, in collaboration with VTT, focused on the next steps to promote the use of biogenic CO₂ in products and carbon removals in Finland and Europe.

The key topics explored by the conference included:

• financing options and business case modelling
• CO2 infrastructure & logistics needs from the Finnish perspective
• Bio-CCU products
• Latest findings from the research field
• Ongoing projects in Finland and beyond

The VIVALDI project was glad to be among the projects showcased at the conference. Our colleague Mira Sulonen, Senior Scientist at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, will present the concept and objectives of the project in “Parallel session 3: Bio-CCU“.
