MEEP Symposium 2023 invites UFZ to present the VIVALDI project and give an overview on electrobiorefineries

The MEEP Symposium is a high-level international event offering students, researchers, suppliers and industry the opportunity to come together and share information and insights in these interesting and continuously expanding fields of science and technology. The symposium covers science and engineering, materials and manufacturing, components and systems, design, testing, integration and applications, for all Microbial & Enzymatic Electrochemical Reactors, especially Microbial Fuel Cells, Electrolysers and Applications.

The 2023 edition of the Symposium took place from 5-7 July in Lucerne (Switzerland). Among the speakers, Paniz Izadi, scientific researcher at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) presented VIVALDI project with a lecture titled "CO2 and electrons as only substrates for electro-biorefineries".
