VITO presents VIVALDI results at the 36th Topical Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry

Last week, our colleague Deepak Pant, Senior Scientist at VITO, was invited as keynote speaker at the 36th Topical Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry.

The meeting, held in Šibenik (Croatia) from 26-29 May, aimed at sharing existing knowledge and new ideas between theoretical and experimental electrochemists and electroanalysts to improve the application of electrochemical methods in marine and environmental research today and in the future.

Deepak's lecture, titled “Upscaling CO2 electroreduction - Tackling the stability challenge”, addressed the importance of stable CO2 electrolyzer operation and showcased the VITO Electrochemistry Team's recent advancements in tackling this crucial issue within the VIVALDI project. The topic and showcased technology got enthusiastic feedback and interest in technology upscaling, highlighting the need for stable and efficient electrodes.
