VIVALDI Final Conference held in Barcelona

On 5 May 2025, the VIVALDI Final Conference took place in Barcelona, Spain, marking the conclusion of four years of research and collaboration under the VIVALDI project.

The day began with the 2nd Innovation Workshop, a closed session organised by project partner Isle Utilities. The workshop brought together invited stakeholders for an in-depth discussion on real-world pathways to adopt CO₂-based biotechnologies.

The main conference programme was held at Casa Convalescència, a historic venue of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and gathered researchers, industry representatives, and sustainability experts. The agenda included presentations on technical results, sustainability and life-cycle assessments, routes to industrial implementation, and a roundtable with representatives from both industry and academia.
